FAQs:
What do I need to play? An internet connection, and downloadable PDF. We recommend printing the PDF for the best experience, but it’s not necessary.
Who’s the game suitable for?: We recommend teams of 1-4 people. Younger players will enjoy some of the puzzles.
Do I need to have listened to the utterly brilliant Oblivity podcast, in order to understand the game? No. (But it does contain plenty of references to the show!)
How long will the game take? There’s no time pressure. This game is as much about the experience and story as it is about the code-cracking. It should be enjoyed over a couple of hours, with a full tray of snacks. We recommend courganteloupe fajitas.
But why is there an Oblivity online escape game?: In 2020, we had to put the production of Season Two on hold. However, we wanted to make something to share with listeners, so we made this - recording and writing and drawing and producing all our contributions from each of our own homes. (p.s. Season Two is now in production again!)
It’s always been our dream to create a physical Oblivity Escape Room. Until that happens (hello capital investors!) we have this!
I have a question: Contact Rob at oblivitypodcast@gmail.com or on Twitter @oblivitypodcast
